100 facts about Jeramiah
I always want to know as much as possible about who I work with. It’s the little details that really help us understand the character of those we work with. Well I got this idea of listing 100 facts about yourself from some other website… and I thought it was nice. I was able to read through it and be able to relate better to the person. If it’s of any value to you… here’s my list.

100ish Facts about Jeramiah
- Graduated High School at the Age of 15
- is the 3rd of 3 children
- enjoys most music types… but not so much rap
- In 2010 Jeramiah invented the first (and only) plugin for the XSitePro web design software
- worked at a Hardee’s
- started college at the age of 15
- dropped out of college at least 4 times
- got his first “C” in 2nd grade… and his teacher called a parent conference because she knew he “did it on purpose”
- owned a business as a general contractor
- worked as a locksmith
- worked as a welder
- has worked on the Cathedral in Minneapolis
- Played a muleteer in his college musical production of “Man of L Mancha”
- performed in his high school performance coral
- has lead music at 2 churches
- has performed at Knots Berry Farm
- has performed at Magic Mountain
- was homeless at the age of 17
- taught Gymnastics from the age of 15 to 17
- was on the basketball team
- was on the track team
- was on the cross country team
- was on the wrestling team
- Discovered in his early 20′s that he had serious “I need love from my parents” issues growing up. But hey, don’t we all?
- took 2 years of Spanish while living in Southern California… most of which he can’t remember… but he can pretend fairly well.
- has lived in at least 6 states
- experienced 120 degree summers living in the California Southern High Desert
- experienced 70 degree below zero winters living in Northern Minnesota
- worked for Polaris, the #1 maker of snow mobiles in the world
- went to college to be a youth pastor
- enjoys the occasional philosophical debate (sick, isn’t he?)
- has a heart for Christian business and supporting Christian Biblical principles
- believes in being debt free
- is married
- has 5 children
- has a secret desire to be a stage comedian… or a superhero. Superhero is probably more plausible for him.
- is not as driven as everyone thinks him to be… really. No, really.
- Forget that… he really is that driven.
- And he wants to take over the world.
- once had his low voltage electrcians license.
- paid for Bible college by being an IT consultant
- went to (and completed) art school at Art Instruction School of Minneapolis, the same art school attended by Charles Shultz.
- his wife taught him to ride motorcycle… and he still loves it.
- studied 3 different forms of martial arts
- spent his early teen years in a video store… watching thousands of movies (NOW we know what’s wrong with him…)
- has an IQ of about 140 (which begs the question… does TV really rot your brain?)
- it took 10 years for him to discover that your IQ doesn’t matter. It’s all about your character. No one cares if you’re smart. They care if you work hard, don’t boast, show up on time, and ask for help when you need it. Since it took him 10 years, this proves that “smart” people can be real idiots.
- is equally left and right brained (both artistic and logical)
- tested for the Air Force
- plays guitar… not very well… but hopes to take lessons one day.
- spent time with Joel Siebel… who won awards for animating “Pinkey and the Brain”, among others
- has plans to take over the world. When I said it earlier I meant it. (I think it was too much “Pinkey and the Brain”)
- was born in the LA area
- he and his wife home school their children
- has been a Director for BNI, the worlds largest referral network
- has been on an international oversight board for BNI Connect, BNI’s social network platform.
- worked in a CPA firm as a staff accountant and business consultant
- doesn’t own a TV, but watches an ocassional show on the computer
- his favorite TV show is “The Pretender”
- enjoys brain teasers like Boggle and MindTrapp.
- favorite board game is “Mind Trapp”
- ran a 6 minute mile in Highschool
- was valedictorian of his class. It wasn’t hard since he graduated in a class of 1.
- was NOT homeschooled… much to his disappointment.
- Has a personal goal of one day bench pressing 300 lbs. He’s up to 235lbs.
- enjoys swimming
- has jumped over 12 people while on rollerblades.
- has jumped over a car on his rollerblades.
- did I mention he’s pretty good on rollerblades?
- enjoys snowmobiling, a habit he picked up in Northern Minnesota.
- generally doesn’t do hobbies if he can’t bring his family along… so he doesn’t snowmobile much anymore.
- Has been a speaker at various companies on sales and marketing
- Enjoys the FREEDOM of being “self-employed”. Now he can work any 80 hours a week he wants.
- has spent hundreds of hours studying copywriting techniques used in direct mail marketing
- has the highest respect for his Father-in-law, Steven D. Schlagel… one of the smartest men he has ever met.
- has lived without electricity
- has lived without running water
- spent 6 months camping with his wife and (then 2) children in 2 tents for “the experience of it”
- had those same 2 tents destroyed in a wind storm with 70 mph winds… which ended the camping excursion. No worries, they took cover in an actual building for the storm.
- won his wife’s heart by risking his life to save a rubber chicken tied in a tree (You’ll have to ask him the details)
- can do cartwheels both left and right handed (thank you Janine King, my gymnastics instructor)
- enjoys reading G. A Henty
- can juggle
- supported his family for a summer drawing caricatures at fairs and carnivals
- has written 30+ songs
- has built about 6 houses… none of which were his.
- loves buying super cheap vehicles and making them work. His favorite deal was a 1 ton van with 80k miles that he bought for only $1,300.
- is afraid of being overweight
- has taught art classes in schools and colleges
- he is the director of a private school in Colorado
- hopes to one day build his dream car, a Shelby Cobra
- has a long list of potential business ventures to try. If you need an idea… just ask him.
- went skydiving on his honeymoon
- is a Lifetime Member of the NRA (National Rifle Association)
- also a Lifetime Member of HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association)
- started Townsend Creations Inc. in 2007 as a “catch all” corporation for various small business ventures. Who would have thought it would turn into such a Frankenstein. Well, in retrospect a “catch all” corp would be the definition of a business Frankenstein now that I think of it.
- still fights occasionally with his wife after 10 years of marriage
- still loves his wife after 10 years of marriage
- regularly has sleepless nights/days because of all the stories, plans, projects, etc, going on in his mind. The longest of which was about 80 hours!
- loves to help others, share, invite others “to go with”
- Jeramiah has also been said to posses ”the patience of Job“. (where he’s hiding it I don’t know). He regularly works under high stress situations and is know for keeping his cool.
