Why WordPress CMS
CMS stands for Content Management System.
When websites were first designed the content (text, articles, images, etc) were embedded directly onto the html page. This isn’t a bad plan… but as websites grow larger it becomes a large problem. A very large problem. Here’s why…
If you ever want to update your website design you have to update every single page. If this doesn’t seem so bad… consider a website like Amazon.com, Ebay.com, or any website with more than 5 pages.
A Content Management System fixes that problem.
What a content management system does is acts between the website design and the website content.
WordPress is currently ranked as one of the top, if not THE top, CMS system in the world. Although it started as a blog platform it has since become the top rated CMS. There are many reasons why WordPress is an excellent CMS system. One of which is that it is open source (FREE) and anyone can help develop it and make it better.
(Did I mention that this website and those we build for our clients are all built on CMS platforms?… And now we almost always build websites on WordPress? That’s one of many reasons our products are better than the competition.)
Here’s a little data why WordPress is an excellent choice for your website…
